Run by Stef Harris, a former equine veterinary surgeon, Harris Hounds offers professional, knowledgeable and personalised equine care, giving you peace of mind that your horses are in experienced and caring hands.

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon (Nottingham, 2015) and have since had many years of experience working in equine practice, alongside ongoing roles within the veterinary industry and charities such as the Blue Cross. I also spent 12 months in a specialist equine hospital in California completing my internship!

We can discuss routine medication administration, additional welfare checks and support for horses with specific care requirements, subject to the nature of the care needed and appropriate arrangements being in place.

• Vet & Farrier Attendance

Can't get away from work for a veterinary or farrier appointment?

We can attend by prior arrangement to bring your horse in, prepare them, hold them where appropriate and provide assistance during routine appointments.

• Grooming & Exercise

Additional services such as grooming, in-hand walking and groundwork may be available by arrangement, depending on your horse's needs, temperament and the work required.
